Our passion for Berneses started early in life (before turning 10). The first encounter with a Bernese was through a one of those “Breeds of the World” encyclopedias. It became a dream to own one of these majestic, gorgeous looking dogs that honestly, sounded way too good to be true.

At 13 years old, there was “Lola” (try not to think about the Copacabana song now). It was the first Bernese encountered out in the wild (middle of a city). With tears of joy while hugging Lola, the dream of owning a Bernese, solidified into a life-long passion.

Fast forward 25+ years, enter: Kardia (shown in the picture to the right). The very core of our family.

On top of our obsession with Berners, we have a true passion for animal medicine, nutrition and animal behavior. So much so that going  to Veterinary school and having a Veterinarian degree has been part of our journey.

Veterinary medicine provided a myriad of experiences from animal clinics, emergency hospitals, shelters, zoo’s, rescues, etc. that imbued knowledge applied to our dogs on a daily basis. It is thanks to this degree, and our life-long passion for Bernese that we strive to provided the best foundation for future generations. We are constantly learning and improving our practices to provide healthier and better foundation to our dogs and puppies.

We take pride in loving our dogs in the best and most educated way possible.

We consider breeding Berneses a privilege and loving them our passion.
