Update 12/29/20

Welcome back! Here is out latest update:

Our beloved Kardia had her 2nd ultrasound on 12/29. To our pleasure, and to the pleasure of our future puppy parents; all puppies appear to be developing and growing as expected.

If you’d like to know what these pictures are showing, let’s see if I can help. The small structures you see within the balloon shape is a puppy in development, and the black you see within the ‘balloon’ is amniotic fluid. The picture on the left shows two puppies side by side, and the picture on the right, showcases a puppy centered for the picture, with another puppy trying to be part of the selfie on the left.

The puppies will develop skin pigment this week.  Last week, the puppies developed whiskers, toes, claws and gender 🙂

Kardia is now eating a whopping 3,000 calories a day, and it loving all the extra food.

Radiographs will be taken the second week of January for an actual puppy count.

Thank you for being part of the journey.

Stay tuned for more!
