Entering week 8
Welcome back,
Once again, thank you for joining us on this journey.
As you can see… our mom-to-be, has tested and approved her whelping box.
At the time this picture was taken, we had just finished putting it together. It is now fitted with a padded floor, and her bed is in place. She is enjoying her new chateau.
Secondly, and likely the most expected news. X-rays were taken on 1/15. Several little pups were seen, and everything keeps evolving on schedule. SO EXCITING!
Here is one of the X-rays taken. I took the liberty of pointing out a single puppy with purple arrows (head, body and itty-bitty tail). You can see more little pups swimming in there while Kardia tries to get comfortable to no avail.
For all of our future puppy-parents to be: I inform you, her due date opens next weekend, and only mother nature knows when exactly it’ll be after / before that.
